Goodhue County Cooperative Electric
through Great River Energy

wind generation available. This offers our  members
the opportunity to receive all or part of
their energy from a renewable, environmentally-friendly
resource. It also demonstrates GRE's and Goodhue
County Cooperative Electric's commitment to the environment
and to meeting the power demands in our service
area.
Goodhue County Cooperative Electric members can voluntarily participate in Wellspring®
Renewable Wind Energy by agreeing to pay slightly more
for every 100-kWh block of energy they sign up for.

In response to customer requests
for more renewable energy resources, Goodhue County
Cooperative Electric, through its power supplier, Great
River Energy recently added an additional 100
megawatts of new wind energy.
